This Sunday we will complete our Advent Celebration. We will focus on the love of God as demonstrated through sending Jesus to be Immanuel, "God with Us." For God so loved the world, that He sent His only Son!" Let us never forget just how much God loves us! We will light the Christ candle and take communion as part of the service. Come and join us as we sing Christmas songs and celebrate the birth of Jesus! (See Matt. 1 & 2)

The Pastor's Office Remodel is almost complete. Pastor Jim will be coming to the office on Thursday Dec. 28. There are two bookshelves left to put together to complete the furnishings for the office. This is a two person job. If you have that day off and can help Pastor Jim with this assembly, please let him know. (Cell: 719-331-0169)

Pastoral Search Update
|
The District informs us that there is a couple who has prayed about meeting with Hill Country Nazarene regarding a pastoral call. Due to the holidays, and the death of Dr. Talmadge Johnson, (father of our District Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Johnson), we will learn more about this in January. Let us be in prayer as the DS and Board work together in the process of seeking a new pastor. Please remember to pray for Dr. Johnson and the family during this time of grief and adjustment.

Year-end Financial Gifts
Financial gifts for tax year 2023 must be received by the church and/or postmarked on or before December 31. If you give online, the cutoff date is December 28 so that the payment can be processed before year end.
|

Please consider putting the church building fund on your Christmas list as a gift above and beyond your tithes. One of our air conditioning systems has gone down, and it may cost upwards of $15,000 to repair it! Our building and equipment have reached the age where repairs and replacements are becoming more frequent. Let’s all work together to take care of God’s house.
