This coming Sunday, the third Sunday of Advent, will focus on Joy. Joy is not a feeling but a state of being. It is the result of being in right relationship with God. It is also a descriptive aspect of the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:22). Like the wisemen (Matt. 10:2 NIV), we should be overjoyed when we anticipate the coming of the Messiah. Let us live in such a way, that when Jesus returns to earth, and we see the signs of his coming, we will "rejoice with exceeding great joy!" (Matt. 2:10 KJV)

Heads Up!
There will NOT be an evening service on Christmas Eve (Sunday, 12/24) this year. We'll sing a few more of our favorite Christmas songs during the morning service.

God Is Moving!
This past Sunday, testimonies of rededication and re-commitment were made. We are so thankful for how the Holy Spirit is working in all of our lives. Continue to pray that we will be an obedient and thankful people. - Pastor Jim

A Much Needed Gift
Please consider putting the church building fund on your Christmas list as a gift above and beyond your tithes. One of our air conditioning systems has gone down, and it may cost upwards of $15,000 to repair it! Our building and equipment have reached the age where repairs and replacements are becoming more frequent. Let’s all work together to take care of God’s house.
