From the Desk of Pastor Jim—
Still Celebrating! What a sweet spirit in the church this past Sunday as Sherman Andrus ministered to us in song and we shared the Gospel appeal. While no one came and talked with me after the service there were several comments like, "The music and message blended together perfectly!" And, "You could sense God moving in our midst." One thing I know for sure, God's word does not go forth and return void, it will accomplish its purpose! (Isaiah 55:11) I pray that those who watched online were ministered to as well.

This Sunday at HCN
|
This coming Sunday, Nov. 12, Rev. K. Ray McDowell, our Associate DS, will be preaching. Rev. McDowell said that Susan and I are welcome to stay, but he would like for us to take a weekend off and just spend some time together as a couple. So, we are going to San Antonio for the weekend. I appreciate Rev. McDowell.
