I am excited for church this Sunday! I have been posting devotionals based on last Sunday's sermon on the church Facebook account, and hope you have been following along. It allows each of us extra time soaking in the passages and content of the sermon.
|
This week we will begin a new series. It was something that was inspired by the M25 conference and the Lord impressed upon me that this series should be brought back with me. The theme is the same, but how God has led me to present it is different than how it was presented during the conference. I know God has directed it and I must obey where He guides. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." When we trust God in all things, He will direct us and clear the way before us. I pray God clears the way for our hearts and minds to be clear and willing to accept His message this week.

We will have church elections on March 9th along with our annual church meeting. This is required by our denomination and allows everyone to know what is going on within the church. It allows us to have accountability to everyone within the congregation. Let us continue to steward what we have been blessed with. I am excited to worship with you all on Sunday!

Prayer Requests
If you have a prayer request you'd like to appear in the newsletter, please email the information to Pastor Donovan or to tech@hillcountrynazarene.com.
|
- Pray for James Smith as he continues to heal after surgery, and for the Lord to sustain him and Andrea financially while he's out of work.
- Please continue to pray that Caroline Hedman's parents can sell their business soon, and that God is in control of the whole process. Also, her dad's surgery failed and he has to have a total hip replacement in mid-March. Please pray for strength to start the whole process over again.
