God's Significant Influence
This week we are continuing our series on Significance. Last week we were reminded that with a significant prayer life, we are able to overcome many obstacles. We need to remember this going forward in our walk with Christ. We have the power to move mountains with our faith and our prayers. Jesus tells us that "if you have the faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move; nothing will be impossible to you." (Matthew 17:20)

Jesus knew how important prayer would be after He went to be with the Father. He frequently withdrew to the wilderness to pray before He did the work His Father wanted Him to do. Let us be in prayer that we will be available to do the work that the Father sets before us. I can't wait to worship with you this Sunday! God has great things in store for us.

This next week our family is traveling to Kansas City for the M25 conference, a Nazarene conference focused entirely on evangelism. Please pray for safe travels and that God would speak to us as we are surrounded by other leaders in pushing towards the community around us. We also have people who are recovering from surgery or are about to have surgery. Pray that they would be comforted and that the Lord would place His hand of healing upon them and others who might be under the weather.

We have an opportunity to serve by packing boxes for "Feed my Starving Children" that meets at Hill Country Bible Church off 620. My family will be there between 12-2 pm on Friday the 21st. If you are available to serve, this is a great opportunity to do so.

Prayer Requests
If you have a prayer request you'd like to appear in the newsletter, please email the information to Pastor Donovan or to tech@hillcountrynazarene.com.
|
- Wes Deskins has pneumonia.
- Pray for James Smith as he continues to heal after surgery, and for the Lord to sustain him and Andrea financially while he's out of work.
- Please continue to pray that Caroline Hedman's parents can sell their business soon, and that God is in control of the whole process. Also, her dad's surgery failed and he has to have a total hip replacement in mid-March. Please pray for strength to start the whole process over again.
