I pray you have had an amazing week taking time to be in the presence of the Lord. Seeking Him first and His righteousness to supply all your needs. Letting go of the worry, fear, and anxiety that we dwell on too much. Remember that God loves you so much that He will provide for your needs. The trials we face may make us feel weak but Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that the Lord told him "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness". This means that while our body is weak to things, that the Lord will sustain us through the trial. What an encouraging thought! I know many things in this life are not guaranteed, but as a follower of Christ I am sure that I will face trials. However, I also know that Christ has overcome the world. Through Christ we have victory. What a blessing it is to serve the Lord!
|
Let's continue to pray that the Lord uses us to reach our community. That the love we show will attract them to the Gospel message that will lead them into a wonderful relationship with the Lord. We have our monthly potluck this week. Let us invite someone to join us at the table this week!
