From Pastor Donovan...

Greetings Church!

I pray that we have felt the Lord's presence this week as we lead up to Good Friday and Easter. My hope is that you have prayed boldly to have a heart that burns for those who are in a desperate place and are in need of Jesus; to see others through His eyes and to step into situations to bring His peace to those who are hurting. We have an opportunity each and every day to serve Him and to love Him with all that we are.

As we turn our focus to Good Friday, sit in the presence of the Holy Spirit and allow it to prepare you for our Tenebrae service. This service represents how the hope of the world, the King and Messiah, who was just celebrated earlier in the week, was now dead. The despair the disciples felt as they looked at their Lord hanging from a cross. The confusion and sadness that will follow them the next few days as they grapple with Jesus' words that He spoke prior to the crucifixion.

I can't wait to join you this Good Friday at 6:30 PM as we steep in the loss of our Savior, and rejoice with you as we celebrate His glorious resurrection on Sunday.
